Selection Process
BSF selection is tough but not impossible. If you prepare well, you can easily clear all stages. Here are the steps:
1. Written Exam
- Objective type questions
- Subjects: General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, English/Hindi
- Negative marking may be there
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- 1.6 km run for males (in 6-7 mins)
- 800 m run for females
- Long jump, high jump, push-ups etc.
3. Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Height and chest measurement will be checked
4. Document Verification
- All certificates will be checked
5. Medical Test
- Eyesight, hearing, blood pressure, and other health parameters
6. Final Merit List
- Based on written + physical + medical performance
